Holiday Packing Fun

Our sooo cool cowboy.

Climbing the boxes we have just packed.

We packed our books and he loved sitting here in teh bookshelf like it was his own special seat.

Colby took Jayden for a ride down the stairs, he giggled the whole way.

It has been a fun day. Because of the Holiday, Colby didn't have school so we decided to get started packing. That is we did as much packing as we could between Colby's celebrations about the Steelers making it to the Superbowl. Colby would celebrate and wave his arms and Jayden would copy, it was hilarious. I talked to my Dad today and he has decided to go for Arizona just to keep things exciting :)

Packing was funny too because we would pack a box and Jayden would either pull things out our try to climb in. It is wierd having our walls bare, it is exciting for our next phase but a little hard to leave. We have come to love Philippi. But at the same time when we were in Morgantown we were so excited about all the stores and convinences.

So I am 25 weeks and starting to feel it. I now sleep with three pillows and know it is only going to get funner! After all this sport stuff and male bonding today I am really excited that I am having a girl. Still no name ideas (poor thing) but we are getting a lot of ideas and soon one will click. Happy Martin Luther King Day!

New Year

Jayden Hess gave Jayden Andersen a hug!

My Grandparents with us.

My snowmobile Boys! They loved it!

Jayden and me. I figured it was about time I made it on the page.

Jayden riding Penny with Dad's help.

I know it has been awhile. I especially know that because already Jayden needs another hair cut and that was what the last blog was about. We have been out of town visiting family and had a great Christmas and New Year. We hope everyone else did as well.

I flew to Walla Walla on December 13 and stayed with my family for a week. I rested, played makeup with Audrey and helped decorate for Christmas there. I picked Colby up from the airport and we drove to Utah the next week. We had a family party in Pocatello, then Christmas fun and then we celebrated Grandpa Andersens Birthday on the 26th. We drove then back to Walla Walla and realized that driving 8 hours with a 1 year old might be one of the silliest things we ever tried to do. He was so tired at the end of the trip that he didn't even cry, he just gave up and stared out the window. Once we were at the house, hyper mode kicked in and he went a little crazy.

I would like to say that we were party animals for New Years but we watched a movie and we were in bed by 11:00 p.m. Are we getting boring and old or what? We then drove back to Utah with my folks and saw my Grandparents and my Aunt Julie. Christine had her baby! Yeah! And so Jayden hung out with their baby Jayden and I got some cute pictures. We loved spending time with family but after several weeks we were ready to be at home. When we landed in Pittsburgh Jayden started moving and dancing and clapping. I don't know how but he knew he was home.

So we found out that Colby will do rotations in May at a town called Morgantown, WV. It is quite a bit bigger than Philippi and it is where WVU and our Pocatello friends are located. On Monday we went to start looking for a place to live and found a great deal so we are moving there in the beginning of February. Do things ever slow down? February - Moving, May 5 - Baby, May 4 - Colby's Finals, May 15th - Colby starts rotations. That busy schedule is why we are moving in Feb. instead of May. Oh well if life slowed down maybe I could actually have time to be bored.
